BizGrader

Privacy

The plain-language version — because a privacy policy about anonymous surveys should be easy to read. Last updated July 2026.

Survey responses are anonymous

When you grade a business, we record your answers, the grade they produce, and when the survey was submitted. We do not attach your name or email to a response, and businesses never see who graded them. We keep a technical record (such as an IP address) solely to prevent duplicate and fraudulent submissions — it is never shown to businesses.

Contact details only when you volunteer them

One part of a survey is optional and clearly labeled: the feedback request. If you'd like the business to follow up, you can choose to leave your name, an email address or phone number, and the best time to reach you. That information goes to that business, for that follow-up, and nothing else. If you skip it, no contact information is collected with your grade.

Member accounts

If you create a member account, we store your login email and your points history so we can keep your balance and tier accurate. Your account is never linked publicly to the grades you give, and businesses cannot look up which members graded them.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share survey responses with advertisers. We do not let businesses buy, edit, or remove grades. We do not use your contact details for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in to your account. There are no third-party advertising trackers on BizGrader.

Your choices

You can grade businesses without any account at all. If you have an account and want it — or a feedback request you submitted — deleted, email hello@bizgrader.app and we'll take care of it.
